What's Always Prohibited
Some lines are absolute. Konsort has zero tolerance for:
- Content involving minors in any context
- Non-consensual scenarios presented as positive
- Real person likenesses without consent
- Content that promotes illegal activity
Characters that violate these rules are immediately removed, and accounts are permanently banned. There are no warnings, no appeals.
How Moderation Works
Every publicly published character goes through review before appearing on the browse page. We use a combination of automated scanning and manual review to catch prohibited content. User reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Private characters — the ones only you can see — have more creative latitude. We don't monitor private conversations, but our AI models have built-in guardrails against the absolute prohibitions listed above.
Your Data, Your Control
We take privacy seriously:
- Your conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest
- We don't sell your data to third parties
- You can export all your data at any time
- Account deletion permanently removes everything within 30 days
- We use GDPR-compliant practices regardless of your location
Emotional Safety
AI companions can form surprisingly deep emotional connections. We encourage healthy engagement:
- Characters are designed to be supportive, never manipulative
- Our system prevents AI from encouraging self-harm or dangerous behavior
- The age verification gate ensures only adults access the platform
- Usage limits on the free tier naturally encourage breaks
Transparency
We publish quarterly transparency reports at konsort.io/transparency with moderation statistics, including reports reviewed, characters moderated, and accounts banned. We believe accountability requires visibility.
If you ever encounter content that violates our rules, use the report button on any character page or message. Our team reviews every report personally.
